From 3 August 2026,  certain positive covenants and restrictions on the use of land imposed by a prescribed authority can be released by way of a section 88B instrument lodged with a plan.

From 3 August 2026, minor updates apply to select electronic documents lodged through an Electronic Lodgment Network Operator, such as PEXA or Sympli.
